London, April 17 – It was a night of celebrations for SEC Newgate who won EMEA Public Affairs Agency of the Year at the PRovoke EMEA SABRE Awards 2024. This was another important milestone, pairing with the Global Public Affairs/ Corporate Consultancy of the Year won last November in Washington DC, that recognizes the effort and dedication of each and every one of our people to always strive for excellence and quality when advising our clients.
Upon receiving the prize, our Group CEO Fiorenzo Tagliabue stated: “This award is a testament to the quality and consistency of all our offices in the region we operate in and all the efforts we make to serve and advise our clients”.
On the same day, we attended the 13th PRovoke EMEA Summit that each year gathers PR experts and next level speakers from the corporate and agency worlds to explore the future of marketing and communications.
During the event, SEC Newgate hosted a panel “Bracing for Impact: How to Survive the Electoral Year” together with Tanish Aggarwal (Policy and Public Affairs Manager at the Nationwide Building Society), Allie Renison (Associate Director, Advocacy at SEC Newgate UK) and Gareth Jones (Director at SEC Newgate UK). Conversation was moderated by Naomi Kerbel (Communications Director at SEC Newgate UK) and focused on the unfolding political landscape in both the UK and EU, as well as the challenges and opportunities presented by the potential new dynamic in EU/UK/US relationships.
In particular, the panel discussion offered valuable insights on how to navigate what has been dubbed as the ‘Election Year’, focusing on what businesses across the financial services and energy sectors should be prioritizing and how they should be preparing.
The day was even merrier as SEC Newgate EU‘s received the SABRE IN2 award for Data in Campaign Planning and Development, thanks to their innovative project developed for Plastics Europe in collaboration with SEC Newgate Australia
