Tonia, a highly experienced strategic consultant for more than 27 Years has cultivated and further enhanced the dialogue with governmental bodies and local governors for a broad range of multinational and Greek leading companies. She has extensive experience in issues and crisis mgt having led the design and production of crisis manuals for industry, energy, FMCG and retail sectors, as well as the design and implementation of crisis drills.
She has led corporate communication campaigns, with special emphasis on local communities, corporate repositioning, and government affairs. She has also implemented a great number of Public Affairs & Stakeholders’ mapping and engagement strategies succeeding to include clients as members to think tank social partners such as Business Europe.
She now holds the position of General Manager of V+O International operations, overseeing the business growth and development of V+O offices in 6 SEE countries leading a team of 50 talented communication professionals. She is, along with the Group HR director, the leader of V+O Academy, designing the strategy and the curriculum for both internal and external audiences.
She holds a BA in History & Political Science from the American College in Athens, Deree College, and a Master’s Degree in Post-Soviet and Russian Diplomatic Studies from the London School of Economics, UK. Tonia has been the author of a chapter on communication issues and crisis management, incorporated in the book project of the Assistant Professor of the University of Athens John Zampetakis, entitled “The Green Crisis”. She has worked for a public affairs company of DDB group and for political parties designing international campaigns with Ketchum PR.
