Svetlana, General Manager of V+O Bulgaria & North Macedonia,is a highly experienced strategic communications expert with a career spanning over 25 years.

She has held progressively responsible roles, leading major projects such as large-scale awareness campaigns for Bulgaria’s EU accession, strategic communication consulting for mergers and acquisitions, consumer health initiatives, regulatory and licensing issues, and public affairs in sectors including healthcare, energy, FMCG, and agriculture.

Her extensive client portfolio features prominent organizations such as the Delegation and Representation of the European Commission to Bulgaria, EBRD, Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, CVC Capital Partners, Public Power Corporation, HelleniQ Energy, Coca-Cola, Jacobs Douwe Egberts, Bayer, Roche, Sanofi, MSD/ Merk, Sony, Deutsche Telekom, Microsoft, and Xiaomi, among others.

Before joining V+O, Svetlana was the PR Manager and Chief Operating Officer at M.A.R.C., part of the Publicis Group, where she gained invaluable expertise in communication strategy and operations.

She holds a Master of Arts in EU Affairs and International Relations, providing her with a strong foundation in navigating complex policy landscapes and international markets.
