Barbara Mulder is the CEO of Wepublic SEC Newgate. She is a corporate affairs expert with extensive experience in reputation management, public affairs, and strategic communications. She is at her best when the stakes are high, has led many high profile and complex crises, and designed and implemented international crisis preparedness training and simulation programs. Barbara brings both in-house and consultancy experience across sectors where organisational interest, politics and public opinion meet, including defence, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and energy.

She was previously CEO of BCW (now Burson) Netherlands and ran her own advisory practice in reputation and crisis management. As a global campaign strategist, she worked at the intersection of governments, civil society, academia, NGO’s and business on campaigns for the wellbeing of young children.

Barbara holds a master’s degree in Corporate Communications from Erasmus University Rotterdam (RSM).
