SEC Newgate Global Team
From Group-wide recognitions to campaign-specific achievements, the 2026 awards season saw SEC Newgate featured across leading industry rankings and major international stages. As we look forward to the upcoming SABRE Awards Asia-Pacific and Latin America 2026, we explore our latest accolades and the work behind them.
SEC Newgate in global industry rankings
The year opened with PRWeek’s Agency Business Report Global Ranking 2026, where SEC Newgate ranked 18th, moving up one position compared to 2025. As commented by our Group CEO, Fiorenzo Tagliabue, this achievement is the result of “sustained progress driven exclusively by organic growth and the continued strengthening of our corporate affairs capabilities”.
This momentum was further reinforced during the PRovoke EMEA SABRE Awards, where SEC Newgate was named Agency of the Year 2026 – Continental Europe for the third consecutive year, pointing to a corporate affairs approach that, consistently over time, has enabled the combination of strategic advisory, market insights and strong local expertise.
Finally, further recognition came from PRovoke, which named SEC Newgate as Best Agency to Work For in EMEA and the UK. This distinction is particularly meaningful as it is based on direct employee feedback, thus offering a valuable reflection of the culture, values and working environment shared across the Group.
Award-winning work: demonstrating our corporate affairs expertise
Beyond rankings, SEC Newgate also achieved strong results across major awards competitions, securing 4 industry accolades.
At the 2026 PRovoke EMEA SABRE Awards, the Group won Best Agency Thought Leadership with “PR2030: The Future of Global Communications”. The project represents the result of a year-long, multi-layered research programme involving over 500 colleagues from around SEC Newgate global footprint to investigate the forces reshaping our industry over the next five years. Presented during the IN2 SABRE Awards, the recognition highlights the relevance of forward-looking insights in supporting organizations navigating an increasingly complex environment – what Paul Holmes, Founder, CEO and editor-in-chief at PRovoke Media, described as work that “provides a glimpse into the future of global communications”.
SEC Newgate also received the award for Best Baltic Campaign for SEC Newgate CEE’s “12/15 – Coalition Against Loneliness”. The campaign addressed men’s mental health in Poland, breaking taboos and raising awareness on the issue through a bold PR stunt and ultimately achieving tangible political and societal change across the country. Itsimpact and creativity were further acknowledged internationally, earning a Highly Commended recognition in the Non-Profit category at the PRWeek Global Awards 2026 and winning Best Public Awareness Cause Campaign (Charity or NGO) at the 2026 PRWeek Purpose Awards.
At the Purpose Awards, SEC Newgate was also recognised in the Best Advocacy Campaign (Public Sector) category for SEC Newgate UK’s “Fairer Energy Future”. The campaign successfully prevented a damaging change to the UK’s energy market through an integrated communications strategy combined with a targeted public affairs engagement leading to a government U-turn.
From forward-looking research to on–the–ground work delivering tangible societal and policy impact, these awarded campaigns reflect the evolving role of corporate affairs in translating data into actionable insights to support organizations as they navigate today’s complexity and align stakeholder expectations across markets.
